Christmas Decorating of your home should start with the front yard. Outdoor decor makes the first impression for you home. What type of outdoor Christmas lighting are you going to have? Will it be an outdoor Christmas tree, lights on the house or both? What about lawn  decorations?  There are very good choices for outside Christmas lights and an outdoor nativity set on this website.   A wreath or swag on the door is a must.

Inside you have a choice of a live tree, fresh cut tree or an artificial Christmas tree. The first artificial Christmas trees were often called “fake” Christmas trees. Maybe some people still call them “fake trees”. The new LED Christmas Lights for your tree or for most anywhere cost more but last longer and use a lot less energy. Do you like theme trees or do you like an old fashion tree with all of the Christmas Ornaments you have collected? There are several pages of ornaments on this site. The pages give you a good verity of Christmas tree ornaments.

Don’t forget the rest of your home. You will find a large section of Santa Decorations, Tabletop Trees , Snowmen, and collectables. Remember that you celebrating the birth of Christ. A Nativity Set in Christian homes would be a must. Be sure that you bring in the smell of Christmas. In my area the smell and sight of Christmas would be fir, cedar, pine, holly and cones. A lot can be done with natural items from the garden. You can always buy scented Christmas candles and potpourri and place them around the house.

Warm up the kitchen with some Christmas mugs. There is nothing like having a Santa mug with a candy cane handle full of hot chocolate! If you are short on cupboard space then try the stackable Christmas mug set that come with a holder. A Santa sugar and creamer or a Christmas salt and pepper that you leave on the table or counter becomes a useful Christmas decoration. I take a Christmas serving tray and stand it up against the wall behind the counter. The tray is handy for use and adds Christmas decor to the Kitchen.
